AUDIOSCIENCE ADDS MANUFACTURING AND ENGINEERING STAFF.
Newcastle, Delaware - July 1, 2000. AudioScience, Inc. a
manufacturer of digital audio peripherals for the broadcast
market, has announced that it has appointed two new
professionals to its staff. Kea Ross has been named Director of
Operations and Eliot Blennerhassett, Senior Design Engineer.
Ross will be responsible for all AudioScience purchasing and
manufacturing activities, effective July 1. He will be based in
AudioScience's new manufacturing and design center in Costa
Mesa, California.
Prior to joining AudioScience, Ross held the position of
Director of Operations and Quality at Antex Electronics
Corporation. He has over 20 years of experience working in
electronics dating back to 1976 when he worked for Crydom
Corporation Division of International Rectifier.
Eliot Blennerhassett is the first AudioScience employee to be
based in New Zealand. In his engineering role, Blennerhasset
will be a key part of the design team responsible for DSP
software and hardware development for the new ASI6000 series of
audio adapters based on the Texas Instruments C6700 VLIW
floating point DSP.
Blennerhassett comes to AudioScience from South Pacific
Electronic Design Associates (SPEDA) in Christchurch, New
Zealand, where he was Technical Director. Prior to SPEDA, he was
Senior Design Engineer at Tait Electronics, Christchurch, New
Zealand, a leading provider of radio communications equipment.
Blennerhasset holds a MSEE from Canterbury University.
