AudioScience Extends the Iyo Dante Family with DB-25 and RJ45 Connector Options

NEWCASTLE, DE (July 1, 2019) AudioScience, the audio I/O company, has extended its Iyo Dante family of audio-over-IP interfaces with DB-25 and RJ45 connector options and will be showing them at NAB 2019

Fourteen new models provide from 8x8 to 32x32 channels of audio on either DB-25 (AES59 compatible) or RJ45 (StudioHub compatible) connectors, comprising:

  • Iyo Dante 16.16MD - 16 in and 16 out on DB-25 connectors
  • Iyo Dante 32.32MD - 32 in and 32 out on DB-25 connectors

  • Iyo Dante 32.0MD - 32 in on DB-25 connectors
  • Iyo Dante 0.16LD - 16 out on DB-25 connectors
  • Iyo Dante 0.32LD - 32 out on DB-25 connectors
  • Iyo Dante 8.8MR - 8 in and 8 out on RJ45 connectors
  • Iyo Dante 16.16MR - 16 in and 16 out on RJ45 connectors
  • Iyo Dante 32.32MR - 32 in and 32 out on RJ45 connectors

  • The Iyo Dante is a cost-effective family of 1U microphone/line Dante audio-over-IP (AoIP) interfaces starting at under $1100 list for the 8.8M model. Inpust accommodate microphone through line level signals with a gain range of -60 to +24dBu and +48V phantom power is individually switchable. Output levels are electronically balanced with configurable levels of up to +24dBu. An innovative use of RGB LEDs on the front panel show per channel audio levels and streaming status, while an embedded web server allows configuration and monitoring of input and output levels. Dual Gigabit Ethernet jacks allow redundant Dante operation. They can be configured as a two port switch for network daisy chaining. Power is provided from a built-in universal AC power supply. Redundant power is available using an external 12VDC supply via a locking 3.5mm jack.

    Like any standard Dante product, routing is achieved using the Dante Controller and all units can also be operated in AES67 interoperability mode.
