For Immediate Release AudioScience announces the Hono AVB Custom at InfoComm 2015 NEWCASTLE, DE (06/10/2015) AudioScience, Inc., a professional digital audio innovator in the radio broadcast and installed sound industry, is pleased to announce the Hono AVB Custom at InfoComm 2015. The Hono AVB Custom is the third AVB endpoint developed by AudioScience and offers 32 channels of AVB in and out in a 1U rackmount unit. AudioScience will be demoing the Custom in InfoComm booth #1226 along with its other networked audio products. A modular I/O architecture allows up to 32 balanced analog inputs and outputs, 16 AES/EBU (32 ch.) stereo inputs and outputs, 32 microphone preamp inputs or a combination of these in groups of eight. Additional modules include 16 GPIO inputs and outputs. With the Hono AVB Custom you have the unique ability to customize the units I/O as well as the connectors, which include Terminal blocks, XLR, StudioHub RJ 45 or 1/4 inch jacks (input only). The Hono AVB Custom supports 48kHz and 96kHz sample rates with mono, stereo, 4 and 8 channel AVB stream formats. The IEEE 1722.1 Discovery and Control protocol allows the Custom to be configured using 3rd party AVB Controllers, such as Riedel AVB Manager. DSP functionality includes a parametric equalizer and compander/limiter on the inputs and programmable delays on the outputs as well as full matrix mixing. Like its sibling, the Hono AVB Mini, the Custom will go through AVnu Alliance certification, ensuring trouble free interoperability with other AVnu certified AVB products using the same stream formats.
